What is Pharmacy First?

Pharmacy First is an NHS service that lets you see a pharmacist for a range of common conditions, with no need for a GP appointment. At Ringmer Pharmacy, our team can assess, advise and where appropriate provide prescription only medicines, all under the NHS.

How Pharmacy First Works

• Walk in or call ahead to book a same-day consultation
• Speak to our pharmacist in a private consultation room
• Receive an assessment based on the latest NHS clinical pathways
• Get treatment, prescription medicines or onward referral as needed
• No GP appointment, no charge for eligible patients

• Earache (children aged 1 to 17)

• Infected insect bites

• Uncomplicated urinary tract infections in women
